Myofascial Therapy that honors the physical-emotional connection.

I work on humans aged 12+ in Nolensville and Franklin, Tennessee using a blend of John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach®, Reiki, and Acupressure. Through a holistic unraveling of the fascial system and techniques that honor the body-mind-soul connection, I support clients as they work toward freedom in their bodies while teaching them the skills needed to be their own healers.

What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release (MFR) stands apart from traditional massage and manual therapies by addressing the fascial system—the intricate 3D web of connective tissue that envelops, permeates, and penetrates every aspect of the body. After an injury, stress, or trauma, the fascia and ground substance may constrict, losing their gel-like quality and essentially solidifying. This process leads to pain and restrictions not only within the fascia but also in the surrounding tissue and muscles. To address this, I use sustained holds with gentle pressure, encouraging the tissue to melt from a cement-like state to a fluid gel. During the session, I also integrate Reiki and Acupressure to address disharmony in the energetic body.

Is MFR For You?

MFR is for you if:

  • You are ready to heal.
  • You want to show up and participate in your sessions.
  • You can and will complete self-care treatments at home.
  • You are able to set realistic goals and time frames.

MFR can assist with:

Anxiety/Depression | Chronic Fatigue Syndrome | Chronic Pain | Emotional Tension | Generalized Pain | Fibromyalgia | Migraines/Headaches | Motor Vehicle Accidents/Whiplash | Myofascial Pain Syndrome | Neck/Back Pain | Post-Surgical Stiffness (Plastic Surgery Included) | Psychogenic Pain | PMS/Perimenopause | Recovery From Falls | Releasing Stuck Emotions | Sports Injuries | Stress-Related Muscular Tension/Stress | Surgery/Scars/Adhesions | TMJ | Hip/Shoulder Pain

About Noelle

I’m Noelle, a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master practicing in Tennessee.

My holistic approach to healing centers around the mind-body-spirit connection, drawing on my training as a John Barnes Myofascial Therapist and my education from the Cumberland Institute of Holistic Therapies.

My approach is rooted in the John Barnes MFR method and complemented by other modalities. I believe that through this holistic framework, I’m not only addressing physical pain but also touching the root cause, including the emotions, memories, and stress intricately woven within the body.

What People Are Saying

I just wanted to reiterate how much I appreciate the work you did yesterday! I’m feeling presence in my body in places typically void of sensation. I feel more open and capable of stretching some tight spots. I feel like I have a lower, deeper capacity to breathe. It’s making a world of difference.

AMANDA

The work you performed brought me back to a place (rewind my body) where I could address some of the underlying emotional/spiritual issues from the past. Without your work, it maybe would have remained superficial and “only” muscular.

KEITH

I felt so much warmth, compassion, and love flow through you. You held space for me to have an emotional release that bubbled up. I am very grateful and humbled by my experience.
